E-government

E-government is also known as on-line government or digital government. These terms refer to the use of ICTs to make government information easily accessible and providing citizens with governmental services. E-government can also enhance accountability and transparency, reduce the cost of delivering governmental services and enable citizens to interact with governmental and other public organizations.

Users interested in learning more about the concept of e-government, how to simplify administrative processes and easily access governmental information as well as how to participate in the life of their society, government and community can learn more through this training.

This user-friendly flash animated presentation uses easy-to-understand words rather than highly complex technical terminology, and provides basic information on the topic, demonstrating the practical use of e-government and identifying best practices. The goal is to enable trainees to become familiar with e-commerce through a 15-minute exercise.

The self-learning training material includes a short quiz for users to validate the information and knowledge acquired.
