3.3.2 Methodology for implementation

As mentioned at the beginning of this section, the Percoladora of Mallaeu & Rocke (2007) model will be considered as the basis for the key elements in the area of technology application. The model indicates three bases for selection of appropriate technology, each of which provides characteristics, expectations and needs that have to be taken into account in selecting the technology that could meet those needs.

This analysis is performed in three stages that provide data about the context in which a network or equipment would be installed, the possible uses that the network will be given, the characteristics of users and the various networks or protocols available in the area, along with essential data for the choice of appropriate technology that is to be used.
